Hey i was just wondering which one is better for my needs. I'm mainly looking for a program to create 3d renders to use in my graphics. Is there much of a difference in the two. Becuase i've asked people and they've just said choose the one you like best, but i wanna really know if there is one that really stands out from the other thanks in advance.

Question About Professional 3d Animating
Does anyone know what kind of animating programs comapanies like pixar or dreamworks use? I'm wondering, because I'm kinda looking into professional animations, and need some advice on what program to use... flash works for 2d, but i dont think i can do 3d very well in in.ThanksPeaceaaron
Mainly the only animations on my site I use are flash animations. They are very clean and don't show a big X if they don't load right. Plus it is harder for people to still them so they stay yours.

My First Stop-motion Animation

Ok, I am creating a short flash movie and I need some help. My first two frames is my loader, a basic, "IfFrameLoaded; Goto" type function. so yeah a friend of mine wanted an animated signature for the new game F.E.A.R. so i decided to make him one... unfortunately i couldnt find any good video footage or really that many good pics so i had to make do with the little bit i found on google. I'm having some trouble loading flash content and sound together. I would like for the content of the flash movie to load up exactly when the sound does, but usually the sound loads a little faster than the flash and the content is a little lagged/slow playing before it kicks in and sync's up. I need to import a WMV into flash 5, but I'm having a very hard time doing so. Obviously, I cannot import it directly. I have tried using DivX Doctor to change the WMV into an MPG (which works) and then importing the MPG into Ulead Gif Animator, so that I could save the MPG as a gif, and import it into flash. However, whenever I attempt to import WMV that I've converted into MPGs into Ulead, I always get an error and Ulead shuts itself down. This ONLY happens with MPGs that were once WMV

I've got a gif that I want to reverse the animation on. Normally, I would do this by hand, but this gif in particular has about 600 frames, so I'm not so eager. Is there any sort of program that could do this for me? I use MGI videowave III and Ulead Gif Animator and neither have anything to reverse the way the frames move, at least nothing that I am aware of.Any help would be appreciated. To start off, I want to say that there are many animation programs for PDAs out there. I have searched a lot, and I have found the best one out there. I know it costs money, but it is the absolute best. It is Novii Animator. I use it because it is the ONLY animation program that runs smoothly on my clie. It has variable animation speed, color fill, text, etc. But, you can only create 5-frame animations with the demo. Try it out.

Alrighty i have 2 questions... Lemme start by telling ya the programs I use... For video editing and such i use Flash and Premiere... anyhooo onto the questions...1. Hi there!!Well, i only wanted to know if it was a good choice to use swift 3d for my flash 3d effects or you would advice me to use some other applications.I'm asking this because i've been having some problems with this app, as long as i don't have a dygitalizer board and i hav to design with my mouse... Can anyone help me with this problem I seem to be having with flash?? I know this is probably some stupid little setting somewhere I have to tweak but I can't find it. I'm trying to put a picture into flash on the canvas. I have a seperate layer for it. Nothing else is on the layer. Properties for the picture is set at 100 % quality. My publish settings are set at 100% quality for Jpegs and I've tried every setting I can find but the picture keeps displaying at a low resolution
heyi'm kinda experimenting with all kinds of stuff. (kinda vague sentence ) and i'm looking for a really, really (really) easy way to make a spinning box, with different images on each side. something to make a dice with, and if it can only spin in one direction, that's ok. the perfect thing would just have a screen where you can adjust the size, and than insert 6 images...i'll see if there is anything useful,friso

What was everyones first flash effort, and how did it go? I remember my first attempt with flash was a button that could be pushed in and could be dragged around.What about yours?
